At La EduCamper, our mission is to change the world, one community at a time, by empowering the next generation to become the environmental leaders our planet needs. Through our school visits, we transform environmental education into life-changing experiences. We not only teach but inspire students, teachers, and families to take action, recycle, and care for their environment, showing them how their efforts can create real and lasting change.
Our mission extends beyond the classroom: we connect young people with nature through outdoor trips that spark their love for the land and commitment to protecting our rivers and ecosystems. We carry the message of environmental awareness across the globe on our sustainable educational tour, touching hearts and igniting the spark of change in every place we visit.
But we don’t do it alone. We believe in the power of collaboration and networks. We join forces with individuals, companies, governments, foundations, and local communities, creating alliances that amplify our impact and make our vision of a more sustainable world a shared reality.

WHAT DRIVES US?
We are at a critical juncture for the survival of our planet. Unsustainable practices are pushing our ecosystems to their limits, and our vital rivers are suffering severe impacts. We cannot remain passive. What drives us is the belief that we can change this reality. We are steadfast in our conviction that education, as a transformative long-term process, can reshape lives and communities.
Just as water flows from the mountains to the sea, La Educamper is dedicated to creating and fostering experiences that align with this natural flow, aiming to enhance and expand both personal and collective potential. Our learning experiences are the first step toward transforming our relationship with the environment and ourselves.
Building and sharing valuable knowledge is crucial for fostering better planetary coexistence and protecting all species we share this world with. We acknowledge the need for new ways of engaging with our ecosystems—whether in domestic, work, institutional, sporting, or ecological contexts—to understand the impacts, risks, and benefits of our actions.
We view health as an integrated whole: without planetary and animal health, human health cannot thrive.
Without water, nothing is possible
HISTORY
It all began with a bold dream: to protect rivers and transform the world’s appreciation for them. With this purpose, "Laura," our first vehicle running on cooking oil as fuel, was born. Laura became much more than just transportation; she was a steadfast companion on an epic journey, carrying our message from the frozen landscapes of Canada to the southernmost reaches of Punta Arenas, Chile.
This was no ordinary journey. As we traveled thousands of miles, our mission was clear: to educate, inspire, and mobilize everyone we encountered. In each town and city, we organized rafting races that not only celebrated the power and beauty of rivers but also united people in a shared cause: the protection of our natural resources.
The impact was profound. Every oar that touched the water and every voice raised in defense of rivers brought us closer to a future where nature and humanity coexist harmoniously. Education was our most powerful tool, reaching hundreds of schools and communities and leaving an indelible mark on those we met.
Our story did not end there. Over time, we grew as a crew with "Victoria the Ecobus," a modern and sustainable bus designed to advance our mission even further. With Victoria, we continued to explore, educate, and connect with hearts along our route. She symbolized our evolution, our unwavering commitment, and our vision of a world where rivers flow freely and future generations grow up with a deep respect for the Earth.
What began as a dream has become an unstoppable movement. Every mile traveled and every river crossed remind us that change is possible, and that together, we can achieve it. Our story is one of courage, passion, and profound love for nature.
